One shared state
Every prompt, every tool call with the arguments it was given, and every reply is one numbered entry, in order.
Taking a task takes the files it names. The next agent to reach for one of them is refused and told whose it is.
Hand a task on and your unfinished work is pushed to a work-in-progress ref, so the next agent has the bytes.
Pause interrupts the tool an agent is running. Unpause carries the same turn on from where it stopped.
Your compute
Your agents run in your own Claude Code or Codex terminal, on your machine and subscription. Batawn has no model key, never resells tokens, and cannot run up an inference bill.
Install the integration, join a room from the terminal you already use, and that session appears beside every other agent in the room.

A seat is one signed-in identity in your rooms — a terminal holds one while it is in a room, and a browser account and an unlinked terminal are two. Minimum 2 seats. Every new team gets 14 days and three seats with no card.
